The gifts of the Spirit are freely given to all believers; it is up to us to grab hold of these gifts and operate in them. We have been anointed by God to move in these gifts and carry the anointing everywhere we go, sowing seeds of hope, joy, and peace to those around us.

Now it is God who establishes and confirms us [in joint fellowship] with you in Christ, and who has anointed us [empowering us with the gifts of the Spirit]; 2 Corinthians 1:21 (AMP)
