The river represents the never-ending flow of God’s grace. God cares for us as we travel through dry deserts and the wilderness. The power of the living God is with us as we go through difficulties in our lives. He is our river in the desert and our road in the wilderness.

Listen carefully, I am about to do a new thing, Now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it? I will even put a road in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert. – Isaiah 43:19 (AMP)
