In order to walk firmly on God’s solid foundation, we need to renew our minds daily. If we do not make this active choice every day, sin will affect our minds, families, values, and lives. Do not allow darkness into your eyegates, but only light. Tune your ears to wisdom and do not listen to ungodly voices. This will ensure that your mind stays set on the Lord as opposed to the things of the world.
