God’s Word is more than enough for us. Use discernment when receiving words of encouragement or prophecy from other people. Discernment comes from spending time in the presence of God. The peace of God will settle any questions that may arise in your spirit. Fill yourself up with the things of God and there will be no room for anything to deceive you.

Beloved, do not put faith in every spirit, but prove (test) the spirits to discover whether they proceed from God; for many false prophets have gone forth into the world. 1 John 4:1 (AMPC)
